Mr. Shannon currently teaches five math classes at LaGrande High School.

Pre-Algebra is a preparatory level class that precedes Algebra 1. This course re-inforces and strengthens fundamental math skills. Pre-Algebra counts as an elective course, but not as a math credit.

Algebra Essentials is a discretely paced version of Algebra 1. Shorter assignments and tests are for students who need Algebra 1 but may not need college level rigor.

Algebra 1 is for students on a college prep track who plan on proceding through Geometry and Algebra 2.

Geometry is part of the college prep series. It precedes and supports Algebra 2.
